The incident occurred on Tuesday evening near Narayan Gopal Chowk. A video circulating on social media shows the driver stopping his vehicle and physically attacking the pedestrian. Following the video going viral, police took the driver into custody.
According to the District Police Office, Kathmandu, 42-year-old Paras Bam has been held for investigation. Initial reports suggest the incident occurred following a minor dispute. The victim’s condition is reported to be stable.
